Starting anew

So here you go... a bit of orangeness for '05 ^__^. I don't feel too good about the design (almost junked the whole thing at one point), so if anyone has some advice, I'd like to hear it. I did get this thing to be cross-browser compatible though, thanks to my Firefox buddies collectively reminding me to do that. The about and bio sections aren't done yet, but I'll be adding to those as I go.

I've resolved to finish reading the Bible by the end of the year, hopefully by reading an equal amount every morning. It's going to be tough, since I've been reading much less in the last few years. I'm also wanting to write something here once every 1–2 weeks. We'll see about that =P.

I'm only taking Chinese 102 this quarter at COD, which isn't what I wanted initially, since it doesn't contribute to an associate's degree. I discovered, however, that me getting a degree isn't too important to my parents, so (after much discussion and some moping around) I decided that it isn't important to me either. Anyway, it's a fun class, with the professor extremely dramatic and serious about the language (at one point, she said something like, "Do not think that one minute will pass by without forced learning!"), and good classmates with which to laugh one's head off. I laughed a lot today. It felt great.

Was fun reading Genesis 10 today, while we puttered along in the suuuv. Readers, if you ever have a chance, go read Genesis 10. 0_0
And (hooray) you've joined Hanyu 102! Before long we'll be typing in PinYin to each other and driving all -the outsiders- nuts! Waha! There'll be no remission...

YOU CHANGED YOUR LAYOUT!!!! AND IT BE UBER! IT BE TEH PRETTY!! XD Seriously, it's gorgeous. Loveing the pastel citrus and the tangy feel to it. And your images Now I'm almost FORCED to get cracking on my own layout. Despite the amount of work I have to do. Curse you Vic. *shakes fist

oo, chinese course. i wish they had that here. i'd take that instead of french. x_x
hmm...wow. i'm reminiscing a bit. it really has been a long time...*a year..? or so..? hm..*well, i hope that you're doing great, and perhaps we can meet up again sometime.
