Rewind... rewind... AHHHHHH!!! It was so unexpected!! Tara threw me a surprise bday party at her house the week before the party I was having! Kari, Chris, and Weien came too, and we had this awesome little bash with DDR, N64, food, and a quick run to game stop ;). That was too much fun! <3 you Tara!
As for my party... I guess that was cool too ^^. Included food, some more DDRage, Cranium, Kate and Leopold, hugs for all... I gotta say, a highlight of the evening was seeing my dear old friends from Kennedy Jr. High whom I finally decided to call up and invite -- Ka-chan, Nibz, Ayesh, and Kate. Wow I've missed you guys! I can't believe we're all SENIORS now! *cries*...
In other news, I got my license =). I'm actually looking forward to the obligatory chauffeurage, especially if it means transporting my bro, who is the coolest ever. Speaking of good things you get to do once you reach my age, I also got to vote this year!! I hereby admit that I was partly responsible for the popular vote in Bush's favor ^_^. There was a lot of excitement here at HQ over his win, for we had all gathered in the meeting room on Nov 2 to pray about the election. There was also some sadness in the air over how our country is so completely severed. Hopefully, things will clear up soon and we will all be able focus on what is right for our country ;_;.
I liked the Bush quote that CNN posted: "The course of this conflict is not known, yet its outcome is certain. Freedom and fear, justice and cruelty, have always been at war, and we know that God is not neutral between them." Definitely not a unifying concept, but true and important to remember, I'd say.
Yeah... HQ is going well, what with learning a Chinese song amongst Caucasians for this huge Taiwanese celebration we were all invited to (look! Peter ruined my picture xD!), a department party/cook-out for the October birthdays, good progress on the websites, and meeting awesome new people as usual. COD/Psychology has been great too, even though I'm kind of behind in my assignments (hopefully not for long ��;). Ah, and I added a fresh batch of Weien quotes to teh randomizer (no hacking to find the entire list!) and basically nothing else... I do have a battlesong entry written on paper, which I'll be posting soon.
