Rewind... rewind... AHHHHHH!!! It was so unexpected!! Tara threw me a surprise bday party at her house the week before the party I was having! Kari, Chris, and Weien came too, and we had this awesome little bash with DDR, N64, food, and a quick run to game stop ;). That was too much fun! <3 you Tara!
As for my party... I guess that was cool too ^^. Included food, some more DDRage, Cranium, Kate and Leopold, hugs for all... I gotta say, a highlight of the evening was seeing my dear old friends from Kennedy Jr. High whom I finally decided to call up and invite -- Ka-chan, Nibz, Ayesh, and Kate. Wow I've missed you guys! I can't believe we're all SENIORS now! *cries*...
In other news, I got my license =). I'm actually looking forward to the obligatory chauffeurage, especially if it means transporting my bro, who is the coolest ever. Speaking of good things you get to do once you reach my age, I also got to vote this year!! I hereby admit that I was partly responsible for the popular vote in Bush's favor ^_^. There was a lot of excitement here at HQ over his win, for we had all gathered in the meeting room on Nov 2 to pray about the election. There was also some sadness in the air over how our country is so completely severed. Hopefully, things will clear up soon and we will all be able focus on what is right for our country ;_;.
I liked the Bush quote that CNN posted: "The course of this conflict is not known, yet its outcome is certain. Freedom and fear, justice and cruelty, have always been at war, and we know that God is not neutral between them." Definitely not a unifying concept, but true and important to remember, I'd say.
Yeah... HQ is going well, what with learning a Chinese song amongst Caucasians for this huge Taiwanese celebration we were all invited to (look! Peter ruined my picture xD!), a department party/cook-out for the October birthdays, good progress on the websites, and meeting awesome new people as usual. COD/Psychology has been great too, even though I'm kind of behind in my assignments (hopefully not for long ��;). Ah, and I added a fresh batch of Weien quotes to teh randomizer (no hacking to find the entire list!) and basically nothing else... I do have a battlesong entry written on paper, which I'll be posting soon.

rewind. that is my favorite button. isnt if funny when they call it fast-backward? although, it would make more since. i mean, why should forward motion get the chance to move faster? its kind of nice when they even it out to fast forward and backward.
Yes, Tara did throw you a party. i knew about it all along. it was a shame i couldnt make it, i had to tend to some business. (aka have fun/hang out time with my U of I peoplle at uiuc) you know, i was there in spirit. which reminds me. theres was this one guy at our church that was this guest speaker, and he talked about when people say "my spirit was with you" he said "i dont want your spirit! if you dont want it, i dont want it either!" good point.
So, anyways. DDR is beautiful, aint it? i want to have a DDR party sometime in the near future once we get another TV.

ah, yes. your license. actually, i’m kindof sad about that. you see, i was supposed to get mine before you got it. However, my parents decided to have me wait until after the winter. its really silly because i actually saved all that money for the car i have, but i cant even drive it without my mum in the front passenger seat. yeah, i’m a bit steamed about that, but all is well.
ofcourse you voted for bush. i didnt vote cuz i was in protest to all politicians!! (oh…and i’m not of age yet) Kerry’s consession speech was quite gracious, and i was pretty proud of him. i mean, after all of that "i know you are, but what am i?" childish fights those two were doing, it was a relief to hear a non-stupid speech. anyways…

1) essays? good? are you mocking me? you cant be serious. i assume you are joshing (now whenever i say joshing, it is associated with kari’s man, merril) i guess they are ALRIGHT (dont tell anyone i said this) but only if you are not assigned to do them! and ESPECIALLY not when your teacher is sadistic and likes to make you feel stupid! (aka, my teacher) despite my contempt, i still did my essay, and i’ll know how i did this tuesday. oh boy. last time i did one, i got a C and supposedly i was supposed to be happy about that because the average person failed miserably. i had one of the hightest grades in the class…i know..wow to the nth power.
2)yes. casablanca means white house. do you take spanish too? behold, ms victoria, knower of all. oh wait! how could i forget! you WERE in my spanish class once upon a time with that little kid (aka "Mr" biles) that taught us at calvary. that class was a joke, and i got an A for who knows what reason, seeing as how my average for my grades and quizzes was a B.
